Rider Report strives to give users a pleasant experience while using the app.
Crime rates on the CTA are going up, rider levels are going down, and the City seems to have no plans to combat this. We want to bring attention to the rate at which users are experiencing uncomfortable and unsafe situations.
Our Journey
Rider Report was born out of the need to enhance safety awareness on Chicago's transit system. As a team of college students from ECC's 2024 App Accelerator program, we aimed to create a platform that empowers commuters to report safety incidents and advocate for public transportation.

Our mission is to promote a culture of safety and awareness on the Chicago transit system. We strive to provide a user-friendly platform that encourages active participation in reporting safety incidents and fosters a community of responsible commuters.
